Hello! 

We are Lucas & Stephanie and we are very excited to grow our family. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us a little! 

We have been married for 7.5 amazing years. Steph’s grandmother was adopted back in the 1930s into a loving family that eventually created her, and that significance has had a huge impact on Steph’s life and plans. Lucas has always had a heart and desire to provide a loving environment for anyone in need of full acceptance. On our first date, imagine our surprise when this topic spontaneously came up and we discovered we both wanted it for our future!  

We live in a historic schoolhouse (which we think is REALLY cool) nestled among farmland with forest on two sides in Northwestern WI. On our 2 acres, we have plenty of room to learn, play, grow, and explore. We are animal lovers and enjoy spending our free time with our two cats, our dog, and our six chickens! Each critter has their own distinct personality and we love caring for them.  

Lucas works for Anoka County, MN in IT, supporting applications as a main point of contact between several departments and IT. Steph works for Best Buy Corporate in the Lease Administration department as an Associate Manager. We both work remotely full-time, although we are required to visit the Twin Cities every quarter to see our co-workers in person. We love to take these trips to visit with friends and family, as that is where we lived for most of our relationship.  

If you were to visit the house on any given weekend, you'd likely find Steph outside working in her garden or in the yard and Lucas will probably be gaming on his computer. When the weather gets colder, we both gravitate towards indoor activities such as our giant collection of board games or reading/writing/doing arts and crafts. Steph loves to decorate for the holidays and Lucas loves all the chocolate that is in stores around then! Once or twice a year, we take a family trip to a new city to explore museums, restaurants, and see the sights.  

Although we love our lives and the family we’ve built, we both have always had a strong desire to be parents and now is the perfect time for us. We are so grateful you took the time to read through this and would love to introduce you to our lives even more.
