Adoptions of Wisconsin, Inc., (AOW) was founded in 2001 by three experienced adoption attorneys who wanted to ensure that adoptions were handled ethically and legally, and with a focus on the child's needs. We are proud to say that we have successfully helped hundreds of families with their adoptions and placements of children over our history of more than 20 years of practice.
AOW is a full-service, licensed adoption agency, providing adoption services throughout Wisconsin. We are here to support you during every step of your adoption journey. Our social workers travel throughout the state to counsel and listen to expectant parents and adoptive families. We provide services for agency, interstate, independent, step-parent, confirmatory, relative, and LGBTQ+ adoptions.
We strongly believe in a woman’s right to make choices about her health, her body, and her child. We support an expectant parent’s right to consider all her options in a safe space. Our social workers provide nonjudgmental and respectful counseling, no matter what an expectant parent ultimately chooses.
