Dear Birth Family,
We’re so thankful you clicked on us! We hope to fill your heart with peace, confidence, and true connection, as you grow your baby, knowing we plan to fall into forever love with another sweet baby.
We are Brent and Stacey, proud parents of Ethan (7.5) and Sloane (2.5). Adoption brings us feelings of gratitude, joy, hope, commitment, and great responsibility. Our promise is love, faith, safety, and opportunity for children to thrive in our home, schools, with our extended family, and in our growing village of Greenville, WI. We pray your story becomes part of our story and that a glimpse into our lives provides you with assurance that the baby you bring to the world will thrive and live their very best life.
This is Us! Our lives together started in 2012, although we knew each other from childhood. We are both from the small town of Berlin, WI and connected post-college, with dreams of one day having a family. Our son Ethan (7) and daughter Sloane (2) are wonderful siblings to each other and would be thrilled to have another sibling to love on. Watching them grow up playing sports, dancing, attending church, and running free on our 12-acre property in Greenville is a dream come true. As parents, teaching our children to love others, be kind, work hard, love Jesus, believe in themselves, and chase their dreams is our goal. We provide our children a nice home – two stories and a basement with five individual bedrooms and a toy room – providing safety, security, a place to bring friends, grow beautiful gardens, and to celebrate family gathering, birthdays, and holidays. When Ethan and Sloane came into our lives in 2017 and 2023, those were the very best days of our lives and we would be honored to grow our family with another miracle baby. We prayed for years for children – they are evidence that faith, hope, and love can overcome fears and obstacles.
Brent is the family provider, as an engineering manager for a robotics integrator in Greenville. It is a gift to have him close to home where Ethan attends school and Sloane is in care. He holds an Engineering Degree and is hard working, a loyal husband and father, funny, and athletic. Hi is always in the stands cheering, or helping on the field at sporting events. Brent is often in the yard playing ball, teaching the kids how to bike or shoot a basketball, mowing lawn, helping with homework, at the gym before he heads to work, or taking care of odd jobs around the house. Our family enjoys being active and healthy on and o our property, gardening, short vacations, going occasional Packers or Timber Rattlers games.
Stacey holds her Master of Business Administration degree and is a payroll analyst at The Boldt Company in Appleton and is fortunate to work from home, having the flexibility to be there for the children whenever needed and to get them to and from their activities. Stacey grew up on a dairy farm in Berlin where much of her extended family still lives and operates the farm. Ethan and Sloane now enjoy and taking frequent trips to the farm or to Pearl Lake where the extended family has a summer cottage. We find it important to exercise regularly, participate in local community events, eat healthy, home cooked meals together, and have become “Do It Yourself-ers” with home and yard projects. Stacey is often taking a run with one of the kids in the stroller, helping in the yard, cooking, cleaning, planning activities with family, volunteering at school and church, helping with homework, and doing fun projects with the kids like painting, coloring, baking, and teaching them how to tend to the garden.
Ethan and Sloane are two of twelve grandchildren, and one set of their great grandparents are still living. We spend a lot of time with family in hopes that our children always find comfort, happiness, and security and want to return home as they grow older. We have owned our home for more than 10 years and in raising children, have found that having family nearby is helpful in times of celebration and need. Knowing that we have a solid, supportive network of family and friends sets us up for success in our adoption journey as children in our family are truly seen as a gift and a blessing, loved unconditionally, and given every possible opportunity to shine.
While we write about ourselves, we commend you on your adoption journey. Life is so very fragile and precious. You are a gift, courageously bringing to life a person who will make a dierence in this world. If you would like to learn more about our family, our dreams, our goals, and our day-to-day lives, or you personally need some positive, encouraging words, we invite you to check out our full profile, and to reach out to us personally. Thank you for making dreams come true through the life of a child and may God bless you on your life’s journey. We pray you have peace, contentment, and good health all the days of your life, knowing that your baby will fulfill so many dreams.
As we pursue adoption, we ask ourselves “If not us, then who? And if not now, then when?” If you have found the vision you are looking for and have the confidence in your heart that we would be the best family for your sweet baby, we look forward to connecting to the extent that you are comfortable.
All the best to you!
Stacey, Brent, Ethan and Sloane
