Pam and Josh

Hello,

We are Josh and Pam. We look forward to meeting you and are humbled that you are taking the time to look at our profile and learn more about who we are.

Josh and I met in Madison as young professionals in our careers. We got the chance to grow as young adults together and learned how to make mistakes and be successful together. We have been married for 10 years. During that time, we moved into our current home in 2017. Pam’s parents built this house years ago. It is a 3-bedroom ranch house with plenty of space. Many of our current neighbors lived next to Pam while she was growing up. They are kind and supportive if we ever need anything.

We live in a rural town nestled between Madison and Milwaukee and we enjoy having easy access to both cities and all the festivals and activities they have to offer. Our small town has much to offer with good schools to choose from, a lake to swim in, and an array of activities all year round. We enjoy going to farmer’s markets, art festivals, and more. We enjoy being outdoors with our dogs and spending time near the lake.

Josh is an AWS Cloud Engineer and works from home. Working from home allows our dogs (Kylo and Nova) to roam around freely. His work schedule is flexible when needed. He is originally from Florida and moved up to Wisconsin to be near family.

Pam is a psychotherapist and works primarily with women, children and families. She graduated with her master’s degree in professional counseling. Her job allows a significant amount of flexibility, and she can create her own schedule and choose to work both at home and in the office.

We hope to provide a child with a loving supportive home where they can dream big and make those dreams come true. We want to create a foundation where they can be the best version of themselves that they choose to be. We also want to provide a loving home so that when this child is older, they will want to come home to family, and find it a source of comfort and strength when the world gets rough. We will continuously ask ourselves, how does this child view us and how will they describe us when they are older to keep a balance of love, support, and discipline throughout their childhood. We are looking forward to growing our family through adoption. Pam was also internationally adopted from India. Our family and extended family are very accepting of adoption.

Most of Josh’s family lives in Florida and most of Pam’s family lives between Madison and Milwaukee. Although our family is small, we have a dedicated support network that includes friends who have become family through the years. Your story of love will be woven into our family tapestry with love and care. We are open to closed or open adoption.

We are amenable to the degree of contact you would like and will respect your wishes and boundaries.
