Hello!

We’re Kris, Lesley & Luci-- thank you for looking at our profile! We have so much respect for you and the love and courage it takes to consider an adoption plan for your child. We are excited to welcome a second child into our lives and continue raising kiddos to become awesome adults! We see great value in open adoption and to the extent that you are comfortable, welcome you as a member of our extended family.

We have been together for eighteen years and married for thirteen. Our connection and love for one another was immediate-- it felt like we had known each other since forever. Over the years we weaved our families and cultures together and created a home filled with laughter and love. We became parents in 2020, when our sweet little Luci joined our family through adoption. We’ve been joyfully having adventures and learning together since she joined our lives, and we can’t wait to grow our family!

Kris is a public services manager within a library at a university and Lesley is a coalition building and training director within a university-based public health institute. We own a house in Madison that the three of us share with Billie, our adorable, black & white dog. We live near lots of parks and nature trails, close to great schools and libraries. We love spending time at home: coloring & painting, reading, playing games, cooking/baking together, hanging out on our four-season porch, and going for walks in our neighborhood. Our home is regularly filled with silliness; Luci is imaginative, active, and curious about the world and will be a kind, patient, and loving big sister.

We are very close with our family-- we love having everyone at our home for the holidays, and frequently travel together. We always have fun exploring new places and look forward to sharing these adventures with a second child. Luci regularly spends quality time with her grandparents (all live in Madison). Lesley also has a sister who lives in Atlanta, with her husband, and they adore Luci and love being an aunt and uncle! Everyone is over-the-moon excited at the thought of welcoming another child into all our lives!
