Hello! Our names are Matt and Karen. We are so grateful to you for taking the time to learn about us. We can't imagine the emotion and energy it takes to work toward developing an adoption plan for your child. We are very proud of you and hope that by sharing a glimpse into our lives, you will be given comfort and reassurance to continue on this path, and confidence to know that your child will be loved unconditionally. Your baby will be the biggest blessing in our lives and will be cherished every single day.

We met almost 20 years ago and were married in 2019. Our life together has been built around love, faith, and adventure. We are truly best friends and love spending time together exploring the outdoors, hiking, riding our bicycles, spending time with our families, and hanging out with our awesome cat, Lucky.

Since we first met, we dreamed of having a family together. After experiencing challenges having children of our own, we felt adoption was a wonderful way to grow our family.

We live in Madison, Wisconsin, in a family-friendly neighborhood, that is close to great schools, walking trails, a small lake, parks, and our favorite ice cream shop! We love that there is always something to do close by – whether it is attending a neighborhood gathering or festival, going to the pool, canoeing on the lake, cross country skiing, or walking to the zoo.

Karen works at a university-based research center, and Matt is a chemist. Our jobs offer a lot of flexibility, which will be great when caring for a child. While we both enjoy our jobs, our favorite time of day is evenings at home cooking supper together, working in our yard and garden, and watching our favorite TV shows.

We are very excited about the possibility of raising your child. We will be sure that your child will always know about you, how much you love them, and how selfless you were to make the brave decision to place them for adoption. We promise to love your child throughout every chapter of their life and are excited to discover their personality and learn what makes them unique.
