We are Josie and Dave, and we are very excited to adopt and become parents. We know that this is a very difficult decision, and are honored that you would consider us as potential parents for your child. We promise we would provide your child with a warm and loving home filled with laughter and lots of positive memories.
We have been together since February of 2021. We decided early on in our relationship to have a family, but have not had success on our own, even with a year of fertility treatments. We’ve always considered adoption as a path to having a family, and are excited to be pursuing that path now.
We are an interracial couple (Dave is Filipino-Chinese American and Josie is White), and we value diversity. We are committed to an adoption option in whatever form the biological parents are comfortable with, and we know that may change over time. We are committed to raising a child who has an understanding of their culture and heritage, whatever that may be.
We live in a cute ranch-style house in a quiet neighborhood on the east side of Madison with our two dogs and two cats. Dave is an editor at a non-profit organization, and Josie is a policy analyst with the State of Wisconsin. We both work from home. Josie recently began working part time in hopes of having more time to spend with an adopted child.
As a couple, we enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. We are family-oriented and come from large and close-knit families. We appreciate you taking the time to consider us, and we would welcome the opportunity to meet and get to know you.
With Love,
Josie and Dave
