First, thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We know that reading these letters comes during a deeply emotional time and we want you to know how much respect and compassion we have for you. Our names are Jocelyn and Javier, and we have been happily married for eight wonderful years.

Our story began while we were both working at a daycare. What started as a friendship quickly became the foundation of a relationship built on trust, laughter, and shared values. Throughout our marriage we have built a relationship rooted in love, trust, laughter and unwavering support for one another. After eight years, we are still each other's biggest supporters, best friends, and favorite people to come home to.

We believe that a strong marriage is built on partnership. Whether we're cooking dinner, tackling household chores, or caring for our home, we work as a team. Even when life gets busy, we make it a priority to stay connected. Sundays are reserved for family time, and most evenings you'll find us taking a walk together, catching up on our day and enjoying the simple moments.

We live in a quiet, friendly neighborhood with a community garden just a few blocks away and a bike path that leads to the lake. Being surrounded by family, lifelong friendships, and a supportive neighborhood gives us a deep sense of belonging, and we look forward to sharing that love and stability with a child.

Becoming parents has always been one of our greatest dreams, and we feel incredibly grateful to be on this adoption journey. We believe that parenting is one of life’s greatest responsibilities and privileges. We know that raising a child means being present through every stage of life, celebrating their accomplishments, comforting them during difficult moments, teaching them kindness and respect, and always making sure they know they are loved exactly as they are.
