Hello! We are Jen and Ryan Selleck. We have been together for ten years, and married for four. Ryan has his Ph.D. in Neuroscience, while Jen's degree is in Child Development and Family Studies. Ryan works as a professor and Jen works as an executive assistant, but we both strive to enjoy life outside of our careers.
We love to have fun together and with family, friends, or with our two sweet dogs, Ruby and Panda. We are always reading books, playing modern strategy board games, biking, or playing video games together and with close friends. Jen bakes sweet treats and dabbles in a variety of crafts, while Ryan organizes game nights and is a fantastic cook!
We cannot wait to welcome a new family member into our lives and put our energy toward nurturing them. We are adopting because we want to love a child as our own. We want to devote our lives raising a little human, to be responsible for their needs and wants, to help them discover and realize their dreams. To love and be loved by a child, to be called mama and dad - this is the greatest goal we have in our lives. We want to teach and comfort, discover and celebrate as a family. Our child will not have our blood, but we promise them our sweat and tears and they will know that they belong.
