Hello!

We are Melinda and Scott, and we are thankful for you taking the time to read more about us. We are so excited for this opportunity as we have wanted to grow our family for some time now.

We have been married since 2017 and together since 2012. We met online and the connection we had was something unexpected. We have a lot in common and yet are still learning more about each other. Both of us were born and raised in Southern Wisconsin. Our schools were rivals, but our towns are a lot alike. We both have strong family connections we can rely on or help them out when needed. We try to make as many holiday gatherings for both sides as possible and truly enjoy the time with our families.

We love to travel by ourselves and with others. Our favorite destinations are Minocqua, Wisconsin and San Diego, California. These places are very different, but they are great places to relax or go on adventures. Northern Wisconsin provides the atmosphere to really slow down and enjoy the simple things. While California has plenty of sunshine, palm trees and a plethora of things to see and do.

Melinda works hard as a Bank Secrecy Act Officer at a local bank and Scott is a Quality Associate for a local automotive testing facility. When we are not working, we enjoy time together and spending time with our fur babies, even when they are being sassy.

We built our current home in 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic, and our bond has grown stronger through dealing with the delays in materials for the house. After moving to this community, we found some amazing neighbors who are now our good friends and have supported us in our adoption journey.

We would love the opportunity to be a part of you and your child’s journey. We are excited to become first-time parents and promise to help the child become the best version of themselves and truly grow up to be what they want to be. Thank you for taking the time to read about us.
