Hello

Our names are Nick, Amy, and Isaac, and we’d like to share a little about ourselves to help you make the best decision for your child.

In 2004 we met when two of our friends behind our backs set us up at a housewarming party.  We hit it off the first night and have been together ever since.  In 2009 we were married in a park with all our family and friends.  Amy is the dreamer. She is always thinking of ways to improve and enjoy our lives. Nick is the details guy, who will sift through those plans and figure out how to make them happen.

In 2021 we were blessed with Isaac through the process of adoption.  We live in Southeast WI, in a small town with good schools.  We have been fortunate to find a home on the river where we can share all our favorite hobbies with Isaac and our future child.  We love to kayak, be out on the pontoon, or even on our little john boat.  When we are not out on the water, we love to take walks in the neighborhood and enjoy all the beautiful nature around us.

Amy spent half her childhood in this area and the other half in Eau Claire WI. It was in Eau Claire where she found her love of being on the water while canoeing with family and friends on the Chippewa River.  She is one of seven children with four sisters and two brothers.  She was a volunteer firefighter and achieved her red belt in karate.

Currently, she works from home in a sales role.  This combined with our in-home childcare means she can spend her lunches and breaks with Isaac. She will complete her MBA in marketing and finance in December of 2023.

Nick grew up in a very small town in northern WI.  The kind of town where you don’t need to lock the doors and you can leave your keys in the car.  He was all-conference in high school cross country and served in the army for nine years. His dad is the local handyman and has passed that gene to Nick.  Nick is forever tinkering with something whether it be the lawnmower, the boat, or one of Isaac’s toys.  He is a jack of all trades: carpenter, electrician, plumber, mechanic, IT, and the list goes on.  He’s always willing to learn new things and loves to teach others.  He is one of four children with two brothers and one sister.

While he used to work on cars as a Master Mechanic, he currently works as a Design Engineer and loves what he does which is designing rock crushers. He is also able to work from home when needed.

Isaac is our amazing little boy.  Isaac is happy and learning new things every day.  He’s a pretty calm kid, not too many things bother him.  He sleeps well, and he has a good temperament. He loves playing with the other children in the toddler class at our church and has recently started dancing around whenever he hears music.

Being a part of larger families, we have enjoyed the bond and comradery of having siblings.  We feel this is important because nothing can replace the bond with a sibling, even when they are driving you nuts. We would love for Isaac and possibly your child to enjoy this lifelong bond as well.

We again appreciate your consideration and if you’d like to learn more about us, we’d be happy to meet whenever you are ready.

Thank You!

Nick, Amy, and Isaac
